News Papers, Will our kids ever see one?

News Papers they are multiple pages, they have news and sports in them, they even have comics, and they weirdly smell kinda good we all know that. Our parents and grandparents grew up on the news paper, but have you actually ever read one from start to finish? because I never have, they are kind of just those things that we started fires with for a bonfire. there is no arguing that the newspaper is a thing of the passed but is it just because people would rather watch the news on TV? or is it the fact that news papers don’t dramatize the news so it’s less entertaining to people? I tend to say it’s both, because the news paper was very cut and dry it gave you the news, some current events, and the scores of the sports games the night before. On the other hand the news is a full blows production that tells you everything that’s going on and with the addition of Video footage, interviews, and lastly news archers giving their opinion. Does one seem a little more entertaining?

I would definitely say the news is more inflated for views for sure, it’s more than just getting news now, people want to feel like they have been there. So long story short I feel confident in saying that our country isn’t done with the news paper because the news on tv is so much better its because the news on tv is like a tv show. So what do you think, why do you think people are not reading the news paper anymore? is it the need for entertainment or Is it that would rather watch information, then reading the news paper?

Today’s society has become comfortable with the idea that information should be given to us in under 2 minutes; no wonder newspapers are declining readers. In general, the culture isn’t reading as many people think we do. And in today’s fashion, reading is looked at as leisure that dedicated time to do, so it may be too much to tackle. Unfortunately, when technology changes, individuals, while they are not forced to change with time, but those who refuse to change are left behind. Newspapers for as long as I have known have tired creative ways like comics, games, zines, and blogs to grab the reader’s attention, but every year, the readers’ count continues to decline.

I think one reason is a decline in the want to destroy trees for public use therefore not wanting to read papers. Another reason would be that paper is not as accessible as say news on our phones.

I feel like there are many factors in why the popularity of newspapers has been declining. I think a lot of it contributes to the fast pace of our world. I had a professor who was very vocal about how he believes the pace of our world and expected production has been steadily making an increase, leaving people with less and less time for leisure or personal time. With such a fast-paced world we have less time to sit down and read a newspaper. Articles on the internet are a lot faster to read and access. They’re also easier to consume when on the way somewhere or on a short break. I do hope newspapers stick around for a bit longer, though I don’t read them I greatly appreciate them for modge podge and packaging.
